Notifications Via Email

You can be notified for new chat requests via email whether you're online or offline by enabling notifications for online and offline messages.

When Online:

Click on the Widgets Module then select the widget you wish to implement this feature.

After selecting the widget, click on customize widget, then under the 'When Online' tab, scroll down and click on the checkbox to enable notifications via email.

After clicking on the checkbox, it will ask you for the email address where you want the notification to be sent.

When someone sends a chat request, you can expect to receive an email notification containing the message, visitor info, and the link to reply to the message via the Swaychat app. You can also reply directly to the email to instantly respond to your customer when you're unavailable to engage via chat.

When Offline:

This feature is also available when your widget is offline. The steps are the same; click on the Widgets Module then select the widget you wish to implement this feature.

After selecting the widget, click on customize widget, then under the 'When Offline' tab, scroll down and click on the checkbox to enable notifications via email.
